Traditional Burial:
This type of service includes arrangements to provide funeral services with visitation or prayer service and burial in a cemetery.
Direct Burial:
In some cases, arrangements are made to inter the deceased without a funeral ceremony although there can and usually is clergy at the cemetery to complete the interment.
Traditional Cremation:
While very similar to traditional burial, the difference is that following the funeral, the deceased is transferred to the crematorium instead of the procession going to the cemetery
Direct Cremation:
This type of service is usually selected when no funeral ceremony is desired. A family may include a visitation prior to cremation.
Memorial Service:
In this type of service, the cremation process has already taken place and the cremated remains are usually present for the funeral service. Interment of cremated remains can follow a memorial service.
A visitation by the family prior to the cremation may be included in this type of service.

Prearranged Funerals
In this type of planning, the monies paid to the funeral home are placed in trust with a trust company and the funeral costs are guaranteed by the funeral home at the time of need.
Monument:
Foothills Memorial Chapel is an independent representative for monument sales and provide service for all of West Central Alberta.
