Pre-Arrangement Advisor / Office Administrator

Born and raised in Germany, Kirsten came to Edson in 1982 to start a family. In 1998 she moved to Entwistle, Alberta, where she started working for Servus Credit Union in 2001. In 2002 she moved to Drayton Valley and continued working for Servus Credit Union until 2016.

That summer she decided to move back home to Edson, where she started working as Funeral Attendant / Office Assistant at Foothills Memorial Chapel. Kirsten recently received her certification as a Pre-Need Advisor. She enjoys the variety of duties in both settings, especially being able to assist families through a difficult time. She is looking forward to finding out about different paths in this industry and looks forward to serving your family.

Our Chapel, Visitation Room
& Crematorium

Our 5,000 square foot Edson building houses a chapel, a visitation room, an arrangement office, a casket and urn display room and Foothills Crematorium. In Hinton, our office at 144 Swanson Drive serves families west to Jasper and north to Grande Cache.

Foothills Crematorium is the only crematorium in West Central Alberta, so there is no third-party involvement and no extra mileage charges. If you wish to discuss pre-arrangements, call us and we can arrange a meeting in your home or at our office in either Edson or Hinton, without any obligation on your part.
