It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rean Uden (Clarkson, Clark). Rena passed on May 31, 2026, in Edson, AB.
Rena leaves behind 2 loving sons, Wally and Randy, 2 beautiful daughters-in-laws, Michelle and Laura, her 4 favourite people: her grandchildren Kyler - Kaitlynn - Brook-Lynn and Wyatt, 5 great grandchildren - Sophie - Maverick - Delton - Melody and new baby boy.
Rena will be remembered for her huge heart and only trying to do the best she could for the people she loved and called her friends. In the early years Rena loved bowling and later turned to crafts such as sewing, quilting and scrapbooking. In recent years cards at the cabin became her new form of fun, as well as floor curling. She truly enjoyed her time with everyone there. She often spoke about all the great friends she met doing all these activities. Her real passion though was her grandchildren, boasting about them to anyone that would listen.
A drop in Memorial will be held on July 4, 2026, from 1pm to 4 pm at the Pioneer Cabin in Edson AB. Prayers and eulogy will be at 1pm with an open mic to anyone that would like to share a memory of Rena. This will be followed by snacks and refreshments. Rena loved taking pictures of everyone and kept everyone she was ever given. We will have a table set up for people to go through and take what memory or pictures they would like to keep.
In lieu of flowers please donate any amount to the Cancer Foundation of Alberta in memory of Rena.
