DARRAGH, William
On August 21st, 2015, William Darragh of Edson, Alberta passed away at the age of 85 years.
William is survivied by his long time companion Rowena Dinnin of Edson, Alberta,
Also surviving are his children, son James (Diane) Richardson and his daughter Irene Vanderwell both of Peers, Alberta.
There are 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren surviving as well as his siblings, brothers George Darragh, Albert (Roxy) Darragh and sisters Jean Richardson, Kathleen (Melvin) Ziola and Patricia Work Hoven.
There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn.
William was predeceased by his wife Mary in 1987, son Albert, daughter Mary Dunsmore and granddaughter Diana Dunsmore, his parents Thomas and Sarah Darragh, siblings brothers Thomas, Cecil, Donald Darragh, sisters Maria and Rebecca Darragh and Mary Lines,
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Peers Multiplex with Pastor George Stone officiating, Interment of cremated remains followed in McLeod Valley Cemetery, McLeod Valley, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, Alberta and NWT, PO Box 4700, Station South, Edmonton, Alberta - T6E 9Z9 in memory of William Darragh.
