CULFORD, William (Trapper Bill)
On March 10th, 2015, William (Trapper Bill) Culford of Yellowhead County, Alberta passed away in Edson at the age of 78 years.
“Bill” is survived by his loving wife Joan of Yellowhead County Alberta and
his family: son Bill (Teryle) Culford and family of Wainwright, Alberta, Raymond (Judy) Culford and family of Millet, Alberta,Tracey (Bill) Gledhill and family of Balzac, Alberta, Dan (Maggie) Culford and family of Thorsby, Alberta and Jeff Culford of Calgary, Alberta.
Also surviving are his eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and his siblings; Joe Culford and family of Bruderheim, Alberta, Fred Culford and family of Elk Point, Alberta, Rosemary Vinge and family of Lindbergh, Alberta and Karen Stafford and family of Elk Point, Alberta.
He is also survived by his sisters - in - law Kathy Lennon and family of Marwayne, Alberta and Barbara Lennon and family of Heinsburg, Alberta and Joan’s family as Diana (Brian) Kenner and family of Nanton, Alberta and Doug (Carol) Schaffer of and family of Bassano, Alberta and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
“Bill” was predeceased by his mother Annie on September 7th, 2001 and his father William on September 26th, 1980 as well as his siblings John (Jack) Lennon on September 2nd, 2010, Richard Lennon on October 16th, 2012 and Kathleen Lilliford on April 2nd, 2008.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Monday, March 16th, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Canadian legion Hall in Edson with Legion Chaplin Virginian Coes officiating.
