BREMNER, Willard On March 8th, 2014, Willard Edgar Bremner, long time resident of Peers, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years at the Edson Health Care Center.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory, his loving family, wife Anoinette (Toni) Bremner of Edson, AB. Daughter Laura Frazer (Bremner) of Edson, AB. Sons Willard (Bill) Jr. Bremner of Peers, AB. Bruce Bremner (Bev) McMillan of Rocky Rapids, AB. Willard is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Chance & Abby Frazer of Hythe, AB; Mickalynn Frazer & Cody McCarthy of Calgary, AB, Chad Frazer & Tammy Bulford of Tee Pee Creek, AB. Emma Bremner and Hunter Bremner of Rocky Rapids, AB, along with seven great grandchildren. Four Brothers, Gorden Bremner of Kelowna, BC. Jim Bremner of Chetwynd, BC, Jack Bremner of Meadowlake, Sask. Albert and Edna Bremner of Rapidview, Sask. One Sister Clara and Walter Peters of Meadowlake Sask, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Willard was predeceased by his father Richard Thomas Bremner and mother Abbie Harriett (Horseman); great granddaughter Maddie Lynn Frazer, Three brothers; Bruce Bremner, Russell Bremner & Roy Bremner. Four sisters Grace (Mooney) Bremner, Ella (Gervais/Rolph) Bremner, Janet (Herbert) Bremner, Mary (Darragh) Bremner.
A memorial service was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, on Friday March 14th, 2014 at 2:00pm with Reverend Kimberly Roy officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5M 0H9 in memory of Willard Bremner is suggested by the family.
