Wayne Douglas McCune
July 11th , 1944 – August 11th, 2013
It is with extreme sadness that on August 11th , 2013, we said goodbye to not only a husband, a father, a brother, a uncle and a Friend, Wayne D. McCune at the age of 69
Left to mourn his loss and cherish he memory, His loving wife Jan McCune, of Edson, Alberta and his children. Gary (Kathy) McCune and their children Evan and Katie, April Kynoch and her son Kolton. Corinna McCune (Jim Maslen). Steven (Karin) McCune and there children Karinna and Tannika.
Wayne was predeceased by his father Angud McCune and Mother Hazel McCune and brother Les McCune.
Left to mourn a sister Sandra Lebron, a brother Dale McCune, and numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.
Following cremation, no service will be held at his request.
I give you this one thought to keep
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle summer’s rain.
When you rise in the morning’s hush,
I am the quiet uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone
I am with you still my love
