1931 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Violet “Vi” Peterson announce her passing on December 9 2017 at the Hinton Healthcare Centre, surrounded by loving members of her family; at the age of 86 years. Vi was born in Olds Alberta, on November 18, 1931 and is lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years; Tom, 3 sons; 1 daughter, and their partners along with numerous grandchildren; and many other dear relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone at the hospital for their kindness and compassionate care of Vi, especially during her last days. Vi’s unique and gentle spirit will be remembered in many ways, by many people.
A memorial Service will be held at the Grace Church in Hinton, 102 Sunwapta Drive on Saturday, December 16th at 2:00 pm with a time to visit and share memories to follow.
