SAUNTRY, Vincent Harvey
Vincent Harvey Sauntry, of Edson, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, Nov 18th, 2012 after a short illness. Born May 27th, 1948 in Doaktown, NB, Vincent is survived by his wife, Denise (Mireau) Sauntry and son Todd. Also survived by ten brothers: Raymond (Sheila), Merlyn (Jeannette), and Eugene Sauntry all of St. Catherines, ON; Frank (Jeannette), and Ronald Sauntry (Sonya) of Fredericton, NB; Michael Sauntry (Margaret) of Williamstown, NB, Benedict Sauntry (Betty) of New Glasgow, NS, Robert Sauntry (Kyla) of Miramichi, John (Phyllis) and James Sauntry of Edmonton, AB; eight sisters: Olive Sauntry of Welland, ON, Cecelia Assaff of Bathurst, NB, Pauline Fowlie of Ferry Road, NB, Rosalie Woodburn of Ottawa, ON, Donna Gallant (Kelvin) of Hardwood Lands, NS., Patricia MacDonald of Sussex, NB., Deborah Whittenberg (Rick) of Gibson, Georgia, and Peggy Weale (Terry) of Fredericton, NB, two brothers-in-law; Wendell Johnson of Newcastle, NB and Gerald Cummings of Staceyville, ME. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Juanita (McKay) Sauntry; one brother, Joseph and three sisters; Jean Johnston, Mary Sauntry and Gladys Cummings. You will truly be missed. You worked hard your whole life and deserve a rest. Sit by the fire, give Trixie a pet. This isn’t goodbye because you will always be in our thoughts.

Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson with Celebrant Mr. Brian Wilton presiding.
