Veronica Jean Simpson
On Friday, September 23, 2011, Roni was unexpectedly taken from us at the age of 49.
Roni will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband Bruce Simpson; her children Rikki, Cody, Toni (Keith Brookes), and Jordan Simpson; her sister Ginny and brothers Verlon and Vernon Otto; numerous relatives and many special friends. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Virginia Otto.
Services were held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta .
In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be made to the Hinton General Hospital, 1280 Switzer Drive, Hinton, Alberta, T7V 1V2 in memory of Roni.
A beautiful life came to a sudden end.
She died, as she lived, everyone’s friend.
She was always thoughtful, loving and kind.
What a precious memory she left behind.
She left us suddenly, her thoughts unknown.
But she left us memories we are proud to own.
Treasure her, God, in your garden of rest.
For in our world she was one of the best.
