With a heavy heart the family of Thelma Carlson, wish to announce her passing on August 10, 2010 in Edson, Alberta . Thelma was 92 years old.
Left to cherish her memory and remember all that she was is her loving family; daughter Christine (Walter) Iwanciwski of Quesnel, British Columbia, sons Edward (Deborah) Carlson and Kenneth (Lise) Carlson both of Edson, Alberta and daughter Jean Carlson of Niton Junction, Alberta . Also surviving are her precious grandchildren, Terri, Shawn, Ryan, Shane, Geoffrey, Mistie, Nicole, Monte, and Jesse. Thelma is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Herman, parents, Joseph and Florence Kerr, three brothers, fours sisters and granddaughter, Michelle Carlson.
In keeping with Thelma’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests that a donation can be made to the Edson and District Healthcare Centre / Palliative Care 4716 - 5 Avenue Edson, Alberta T7E 1S8 in Thelma Carlson’s memory.
