ZAHARA, Stanley Ivan
On January 24th, 2016 Stanley Ivan Zahara of Jasper, Alberta, beloved husband of Carol Zahara passed away in Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 83 years.
Besides his loving wife Carol, Stanley is survived by his children; daughter Rita (Myles) Johnson of Edmonton, Alberta and their daughter Caitlan, daughter Jacquie (Darwin) Foley of Jasper, Alberta and their daughter Megan, stepchildren Carl Butler in British Columbia, David Butler of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Valerie Butler and Jeff Butler of Brantford, Ontario and grandchildren Kassie and Emily.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Stanley was predeceased by his son Ken Zahara, his parents, Pauline and Carl Zahara and siblings Mary and Marjorie.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will take place at a later date.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M 0H9 in memory of Stanley Ivan Zahara.
