Roy Thomas Lewis of Hinton, Alberta passed away on November 11th, 2013 at the age of 68 years.
Roy was predeceased by his father Rowland Thomas Lewis in 1973, his mother Marguerite Josephine Lewis in 1988 and his brother Lee Anthony Lewis.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory, his best friend Shirley Borle of Barrhead, Alberta, brothers Jim (Betty Ann) Lewis of Darwell, Alberta and Kelly (Kathy) Lewis of Minburn, Alberta as well as his nephews Terry (Dara) Lewis of Hinton, Alberta, Lyle Lewis and Garth (Suzy) Lewis all of Edmonton, Alberta and his niece Christie Lewis of Lethbridge. Also surviving are great nephews James (Brittney) Lewis, Dale Lewis and Ethan Lewis, great niece Victoria Lewis as well as great great niece Cortlyn Lewis and many other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hinton with Pastor Douglas Heine officiating.
This service was preceded by the interment of cremated remains in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 16th, 2013.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Resident Care Foundation or to Mountain View Center in memory of Roy Thomas Lewis.
