Erickson, Ronald Gilbert – (1942-2015)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ron Erickson on September 10, 2015 in Hinton, AB at the age of 73. He passed peacefully surrounded by family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Dianne, his children; Trevor, Troy and Todd (Myrna), his cherished grandchildren; Rob (Nicole), Stephanie (Cody), and Daniel as well as his great- grandson Jace, brothers; Louie (Debbie) and Gary, sisters; Lou Gray, Hazel Walker and Linda Kucher. He will also be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Bob (Diana) MacKay, sisters-in-law, Lynne (Al) Timmerman, Lorrie (Glenn) Ross, Debbie (Terry) Workun, Dawn (Wayne) Parnell and so many nieces and nephews he loved (and teased) like his own.
Ron was predeceased by both parents, Fred and Agness Erickson, father and mother-in-law Alvin and Joan MacKay, brother Arnold Erickson, brothers-in-law; Bud Gray, John MacKay, and sisters-in-law; Joyce Koch and Sandy Erickson.
A celebration of Ron's life was held on Wednesday, September 30th at 2:00 p.m. in the Hinton Centre, Hinton, AB.
Cremation has taken place and Ron will be laid to rest in Hinton Woodlawn Cemetery.
