Robert Webb
October 15, 1929 - October 17, 2016
We are sad to announce the passing of Robert Webb at the age of 87. He left to join his son Robert Webb Jr. and his daughter Janet Seely as well as his parents George and Constance Webb and seven of his siblings Tilly, Pat, Joan, Art, Hilda, Irene and Betty.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 63 years Marjorie and their children Marjorie (Kim) Gallagher and their daughter Krystal (Luke) Helquist; son Bruce (Elizabeth) Webb and their children Rose (Orry) Rumball, Robert, Danielle (Robert) Fossheim, Laura, Carolyn, and Richard; daughter Pam (Phil) Rowland and their children Andrea, Miranda (Thorren) Aldrich and Troy; and his daughter Janet's children Katherine and Michael Seely. Robert is also survived by his 6 beloved great grandchildren Elizabeth, William, and Matilda Rumball and Lillian, Koyan, and Evaleen Aldrich as well as his youngest sister Fay Nath.
Robert was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He grew up on his parents’ dairy farm. Robert married Marjorie on June 20, 1953 and farmed in Alberta his entire life. Robert and Marjorie first farmed at Fort Macleod and Pincher Creek. In 1964 they bought a farm in High River where they ran an extensive feedlot operation. In 1987 they moved to Niton Junction to farm with their son Bruce in Carrot Creek.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Foothills Memorial Chapel, 5040, 6th Avenue, Edson, AB.
