BROWN, Robert Walter
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Walter Brown of Wildwood, Alberta on March 20th, 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 85 years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Arlene of Wildwood, Alberta, his loving children: Debra (Kelly) Plummer of Edson, Alberta, Donald (Carol) Brown of Edson, Alberta, Kelly (Bonnie) Brown of Edson, Alberta, Karen (Rick) Brown of Kamloops, British Columbia, Brenda (Perry) Giles of Edmonton, Alberta and Bryan Brown of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Also surviving are his siblings; brother Martin (Denise) Brown and family of Unity, Saskatchewan, sisters Adeline (Austin) Shaw and family of Wildwood, Alberta and sister Shirley Redl and family of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Robert was predeceased by his first wife Rosella on January 10th, 2009, his grandson Trinity Plummer in 2008, his sisters Betty Kozoriz and Lois Olson and brothers Danny and Gary Brown.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday, March 27th, 2015 at 1 PM at the Bethel Pentecostal Family Worship Center, Edson, Alberta with Pastor John Greiner officiating.
Interment of cremated remains followed in the Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, 1502 College Plaza, 8215 – 112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2C8 in memory of Robert Walter Brown.
