SMITH, ROBBIE DUANE
With great sadness and a heavy heart, the family of Robbie Smith of Obed, Alberta, announce his passing on December 2, 2010 at Hinton, Alberta. Robbie was 48 years old.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish all that he was, is his loving family; life partner, Lynnette Nelson of Obed, Alberta and children; Chuck (Pam) Nelson of Edmonton, Alberta and son Mason, Chris (Bobbi) Leakvold and daughter, Morgan of Hinton, Alberta, Cody (Tiffany) Rondeau and children Rebecca, Cannon, and Shelby of Whitecourt, Alberta and Sara Rondeau (Carlo Richie) and children, Isabella and Hunter all of Fort Assiniboine, Alberta. Robbie is also survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Darla Smith and grandson Colton all of Nanton, Alberta. Robbie leaves behind his siblings; brother Ken (Cindy ) Smith and daughter Emily-Ann all of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, sister, Sandy (Sandy) Corsi and sons, Tyler and Trevor all of West Bank, British Columbia and brother Kevin Smith also of West Bank, British Columbia. Robbie is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of good friends.
Robbie was a dedicated employee, who spent 30 years working for the Hinton Saw Mill as an equipment operator. When he wasn’t working, Robbie enjoyed spending his time with the love of his life for over 11 years, his precious Lynnette, or his wonderful family.
In keeping with Robbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family celebration of Robbie’s life, at a later date.
