It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Rick (Ricky) Ottoson on February 6, 2022, in Grande Cache Alberta, doing what he loved: driving train.
Rick will be lovingly remembered by Amy Thompson, his love of 20 years, his parents Ernest and Pauline Ottoson, brother Ron (Kate) and sister Tracy, his nephews Leif, Jace, Tristan and his niece Lisa-May. His memory will be cherished by numerous family members and friends.
Rick was a gentle soul in life, a very quiet man, whose main focus was his life and time with Amy and recently his time with his nephew Jace. They spent hours together just “hanging out”.
We are forever grateful for the time he gave everyone who touched his life.
A Celebration of Ricks life will be held at a later date.
