LUCAS, Rene Jean - Jacques
On April 2nd, 2014, Rene Jean - Jacques Lucas, beloved husband of Manon passed away at the age of 65 years. Besides his loving wife Manon, Rene is survived by his daughters, Jacinthe Lucas and Catherine (Tim Boarer) Cornelius and children Gabrielle, Kadin, Sheldon, Alexis, Chance, Jordan and Cole and great grandson Lincoln.
Also surviving are his siblings, Jean Yves Lucas of Granby, Quebec, Doranne (Raymond) Thibert and their son Justin (Marie-Pier La Chaine) and their children Simon, Charles-Antoine, Xavier and Amelie of Ottawa, Ontario. Also surviving is his niece Christine Lucas as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.
Predeceased by his parents Irene and Albert as well as brother Pierre Lucas and niece Isabelle Lucas.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7th, 2014 at 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson, Alberta. Interment of Cremated remains will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta – T5M 0H9 in memory of Rene Jean - Jacques Lucas.
