SERDIAK, Peter
We are saddened to announce the passing of our father Peter on April 30th, 2011 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 79 years.
He is survived by his loving family, daughter Jacqueline (Murray) Kneteman of Edson, Alberta and their children Kelly of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and Rob of Calgary, Alberta, daughter Janice (Edward Spurgeon) Hawryluk of Edson, Alberta and her children Daniel Hawryluk of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Lisa Hawryluk (Sean Way) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and their children Alix and Lily and son Danny (Kathy) Serdiak of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Ed (Kathy) Serediak and family of Edmonton, Alberta, Delmar (Gladys) Serediak and family of Andrew, Alberta, Mary Cholak and family of Vegreville, Alberta and Olga Vahey and family of Edmonton, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife Ellen in 2006 as well as his parents George and Daisy Serediak and one brother, James Serediak.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service and interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to The Edson and District Healthcare Centre, 4716 – 5th Ave., Edson, Alberta, T7E 1S8 in memory of Peter Serdiak.
