KING, Peter Darrell, Peter passed away in Edson on March 10th, 2015 at the age of 52 years, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Peter is survived by his loving wife Kathy of Edson, Alberta, his daughters, Cora – Lee (Ty) Cobb and family in Manitoba, Kayla Cramm and family in Alberta, Courtney King of Red Deer, Alberta, Carla (Dean) Konchakowski and family, Cindy (Brendon) Wood and family, Cherie (Cody) Hunter and family all of Edson, Alberta and Tanya (Simon) Boutin and family of Carbon, Alberta.
Also surviving are his parents Vernon and Shirley King of Bishop Falls, NFLD and siblings Roy (Sharon) King and family of Bishop Falls, NFLD, Angela (Terry) King and family of Westville, NS, Lana (Wayne) Rendell and family of Bishop Falls, NFLD and Christopher (Kathy) King and family of Beaver Harbour, NB.
There are numerous other relative and a host of friends left to mourn. Peter was predeceased by his infant daughter Charlotte Patricia King on July 1st, 1983 as well as maternal and paternal grandparents: William and Clara Luscombe and Freeman and Ethel King.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Edson Mennonite Church, Edson, Alberta with Pasto Aaron Kaufman officiating.
In lieu of other tributes, donations is desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Peter Darrell King.
Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
