OLGA STRIKER (Sackmann)
May 19th, 1917 – May 15th, 2011
It is with great sadness the family of Olga announce her passing just four days short of her 94th birthday.
She was a loving and kind mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Olga lived a long life and enjoyed her family immensely, as well as friends she met along the way.
Olga and her husband Harry Felaber along with two sons came to Hinton from Beardmore, Ontario in the early 50’s during the beginning of the pulp mill.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Wayne Felaber (Cathy Wyard-Scott) and Joe Wilson (Donna) of Hinton, Alberta.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Marcene, Trent, Kelly and Erin as well as five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are her two sisters Olive and Tillie and two brothers Reinhold and Herbert.
Coming from a family of fourteen siblings, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Olga’s wish, there was a private family ceremony.
