MATIUSHYK, Olga
We are saddened to announce the passing of Olga on June 22nd, 2015 at the age of 85 years.
Olga is survived by her loving family: son Bob (Fran) Matiushyk of Sherwood Park, Alberta and their family, son Aaron (Jackie) of Edmonton, Alberta, daughter Renee (Derek) Stribbell and their children Lucas, Skye and Colten of Sherwood Park, Alberta; her son Don’s family, daughter Cary (Kevan) Kruger and their children Kaitlan and Nicholas of Kelowna, BC, daughter Meagan and her daughter Zoe of Edson, Alberta, son Ryan (Lindsay) and their daughter Eddie of Sherwood Park, Alberta; her daughter Sandra Matiushyk of Edson, Alberta and her family, daughter Kristie and her children Haley and Ava of Edson, Alberta and daughter Melissa (Kary) of Camrose, Alberta and her son Tom (Kim) Matiushyk of Camrose and their family Zach, Lauren, Daniel and Sydney.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Olga was predeceased by her husband Tom in 2000, her son Don in 2013 as well as her parents Mike and Annie Powluk and siblings Walter, Victor, Hazel, Ethel, Victoria and Emma.
Funeral services for Olga Matiushyk were held on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Edson, Alberta with Rev. Leslie Halliwell officiating.
Interment followed in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Ave., Edmonton, Alberta – T5E 4K1 in memory of Olga Matiushyk would be appreciated by the family.
