Nima Viola (Svedberg) Tomich

It is with sadness that the family of Nima Tomich of Jasper, Alberta announces her passing on October 30, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Left to mourn the loss and cherish her memory are her children Gary (Beatrice) Drader of Edson, Lynda Fenrich of Veteran and Janice Drader of Rocky Mountain House. Nima leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also surviving her are 2 sisters Ella Regier and Jenny Perdue both of Edmonton; a sister-in-law Helen Svedberg of Edson; brother-in-law Joe Regier of Edmonton; sister-in-law Leila Tomich of Edson; brother-in-law John Tomich of Leduc; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nima was predeceased by husbands Eugene Drader (1959) and Emil Tomich (2006); great-granddaughter Leah (2013); parents Alida (1958) and Pete (1963); siblings Najma (1918), Roy (1927), Gustaf (1987), Everton (1989), Mary (1991), William (2004), Oscar (2011), Elsie (2016); and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. In keeping with Nima’s wishes, no formal funeral service will take place at this time. Foothills Memorial Chapel, Edson Funeral Home have been entrusted with the care and arrangements. 780-723-3575.
