Nancy Anne Gerdes, age 55, born in Calgary, AB on July 29, 1958, passed away in Grande Cache on April 29, 2014.
Nancy Anne is predeceased by her Partner Neile Jiwan, Father Tony Gerdes, Nephew, Keaton Coty-Scholl, Grand Parents, Claire Picard Desilets, Lionel Desilets & Felix Suter, Hubert & Delia Gerdes & Great Aunt Cathryn Berninger, Great Uncle, Bob Gerdes & Father In law, Abdul Jiwan.
Nancy Anne is lovingly remembered and survived by her mother Evelyn Suter & Uncle, Phil Suter. Sisters, Teya Coty (Carl Scholl), AnneMarie Smits (John) and Carolyn Downey (JD), & Mother In law, Gulshan Jiwan, Brother-in law, Alnoor (Heather) Jiwan. Nieces & nephews, Karsten, Mykaela, Justin, Tamara, Alysha, Tyler, Layton, Jennifer, Kevin, Luke, Duncan, Farrah, Alyisha, Adam & great niece Sophia-Lynn.
Nancy Anne was known as a creative visionary, innovator and the driving force of Funky Punkers, Calgary & U GOTTA B Kiddin’, Vancouver. With an insatiable appetite for travel, flavor, racing & adventure, she was fearless leaving no stone unturned. All whom she embraced will miss her contagious energy, dynamic smile & caring heart.
A memorial service was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 107 St & Shand Ave. Grande Cache, AB on May 3, 2014 at 2pm. with fellowship following.
