SMITH, Muriel Irene
On October 23rd, Muriel Irene Smith, beloved wife of Henry passed away in Edmonton at the age of 71 years.
Besides her loving husband Henry, Muriel is survived by her children: Donna of Edson, Alberta, Lyle (Daquari) of Drayton Valley, Alberta and Randy (Carmen) of Edson, Alberta. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Natasha, Lee, Colby, Courtney, Montana, Alyta, Colter, Coral and Storm and great grandchildren Aiden and Rylan.
Also surviving is her sister Jackie (Marvin) and family of Stony Plain, Alberta as well as her niece Kristy (Chris) and nephew Aaron (Brittney) and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Muriel was predeceased by her parents Jakob and Rose Oswald and her brother Norman in infancy.
Following cremation, a private interment of cremated remains took place in Glenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, October 29th, 2014 with Rev. Anne Salmon officiating.
A gathering of family and friends took place at the Lion’s Den (Lions Park) in Edson between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM following interment services.
