Jeffery-Weir, Mary Elizabeth (Bette)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bette Weir, a life-long resident and active member of the community, on May 28, 2014 in Jasper, Alberta at the age of 74 years.
Bette will be fondly remembered by her brother Willard (Bill) Jeffery; her daughter Barbara Needham (Weir); son Jeffery Weir; daughter Elizabeth (Libby) Weir; and her grandchildren Allison Needham; Douglas Needham; Emily Fenton; and Nigel Weir. Bette is predeceased by her parents, Douglas Jeffery and Phyllis Jeffery (Webb), both of Jasper, Alberta.
A celebration of Bette’s life will be held at the Jasper Airfield Group Picnic Site on June 21st between 2 pm and 5pm.
Please bring your stories and memories of Bette, along with your lawn chair.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
