ROERSMA, Mark Jordan
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mark on Monday, September 5th 2016 at his home with his parents and his grandmother at his side.
Prior to Mark’s passing he was able to celebrate his 29th birthday with a large gathering of family and friends.
Mark will be forever missed by his parents Howard and Sheri; his siblings Daniel Biro, Taede Roersma (Kaitie Rideout), Zach Larson, and Treena Majocha; his nephew and nieces Dante, Hailey, and Chloe; his grandparents Ted and Grace Roersma and his grandmother Marie Biro. Mark will forever be remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was a kind soul and greeted everyone with a smile. He did not allow his physical disability to define who he was. He was a true cowboy and enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music and an occasional shot of Jack Daniels.
Mark was predeceased by is grandfather Paul Biro.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Mark, a donation may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1502 College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8.
