Maria Zaffino
1930 – 2021
On October 17, 2021, Maria Zaffino of Jasper, Alberta passed away at the age of 91 years.
Survived by her children, John Zaffino, Luigi (Yvonne) Zaffino, Nick (Marilyn) Zaffino, Lina (Claudio) Venchiarutti, Dennis (Sandra) Zaffino, and her sister-in-law Addolorata Pisani.
There are nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren left to mourn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives both here in Canada and in Italy. Maria was predeceased by her husband Bruno, her father Luigi, and her mother Carmela, as well as her brothers and one sister.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 23 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Jasper. Interment will follow at the Jasper Cemetery.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be made to Alpine Seniors Lodge activity fund, Box 320, in memory of Maria Zaffino.
