LYLE MEROPOULIS
February 11, 1926 – April 21st. 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Meropoulis announce his passing on April 21st, 2011.
Lyle leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife Lila, sons Ken (Marie) Meropoulis, Gary/Duff (Donna) Meropoulis, Shane (Donna Reece) Meropoulis, his daughters Tracy Meropoulis and Jackie (Terry) Nelson, his grandchildren Tanya (Gil) Fiscus-McKeen, Amy (Travis Browne) Meropoulis, Levi Meropoulis, Logan Meropoulis, Cody Meropoulis, Chad (Courtney) Meropoulis, Alana Meropoulis and Joel Little, great grandchildren, Delta Fiscus-McKeen, Austin Fiscus-McKeen, Malaya Browne, Reece Meropoulis-Valdez, Tyra Meropoulis, Tyson Meropoulis and Terner Meropoulis as well as one great great grandchild, Ty Keeler.
Also surviving is his brother Bert (Irene) Meropoulis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lyle was predeceased by his parents Louis and Perle Meropoulis, sisters Kathleen Meropoulis, Helen Stafford and his brother Bill Meropoulis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Carrot Creek Community Hall in Carrot Creek, Alberta.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to the Willmore
Wilderness Foundation, PO Box 93, Grande Cache, Alberta T0E 0Y0 in memory of Lyle Meropoulis.
