Schutte, Lucille (Elsie)
It is with deep sadness that the Schutte Family announces the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother Lucille Schutte, of Whitecourt AB, at the age of 87 on March 1, 2014 in Edson AB.
She leaves to mourn her passing her eight children, Lenore (Andre) Lemire, Leon (Rita) Schutte, June (Wallace) Winter, Ralph (Sheila) Schutte, Wilbur (Helen) Schutte, Janice Taylor, Gerald (Glenna) Schutte, Wilma (Don) Harris as well as 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Evan Schutte, parents Waldemar and Anna Dahl, sister Sadie Dahl, brother Art Dahl and sister-in-law Emma Dahl, daughter Bernice, son-in-law Bob Taylor, grandson Alexander Schutte and great-grandson Lukas Balaberda.
Funeral services was held on Saturday, March 8th, at 1:00 PM at the Whitecourt United Church with Reverend Alwin Maben officiating. Interment will follow at the Whitecourt Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 1010, Royal Bank Building, 10117 Jasper Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 1E8 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M 0H9 in memory of Lucille (Elsie) Schutte.
