VENANCE, Louis Wilfed
The family of Louis Wilfred Venance wish to announce his passing on July 28, 2014 at 83 years old.
“Lou” Venance, son of Noe Emile and Anna Venance, loving father of 5 children, passed away in Hinton AB.
He is survived by, daughter-in-law Karen (Verl), and 4 children Kevin Venance, Karyn (Jerry)Fraser, Brian (Cheryl) Venance, & Noel Venance. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, Cory Bilodeau, Aimee Venance (Timothy Prevost), Aaron (Stephanie) Venance, Sarah (Wade) Olson, Andrea (Dustin) Sommerfeld, Ricky Venance, Murray Venance, & Owen Venance. And 6 great grandchildren, Keyon Littlejohn, Walker Olson, Vincent Prevost ,Kade Olson, Emma Sommerfeld & Benter Sommerfeld. Louis also leaves behind his siblings, Lorence (Lena) Venance, Irene Davidson, Oliver (Beth) Venance, Elmer (Doreen) Venance & Elaine (Ed) Kisslinger along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lou was predeceased by his father Noe Emile Venance, his Mother Anna Venance, his brother Joseph Venance, his son Verl Venance, & his brother-in-law Gordon Davidson. After 25 years of service Lou retired from The Royal Canadian Airforce after many achievements as a flight engineer to live in Hinton Ab. Here he worked in the pulp mill and for the RCMP. Lou was honored as a life member at the Royal Canadian Legion in 1997.
In keeping with Lou’s wishes cremation has taken place and his celebration of life was held at Sweet Lou’s Lounge & Grill on Aug 5, 2014 at 3pm.
