FORSBERG, Lorna Grace
It is with great sadness that we announce that Lorna Grace Forsberg passed away on April 18, 2014. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lorna was born on September 25, 1930 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan and married John Forsberg on April 20, 1951. They raised their family in the Hinton area. She passed away unexpectedly at Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, Alberta on April 18th, 2014 at the age of 83 years – 3 years to the day that her husband, John Forsberg, passed away in 2011.
She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren - daughter Bonnie (Rodney) Roy of St. Albert, Alberta, and their children Bradley Roy, Darrel Roy, Mark (Katelyn) Roy and their daughters Danica and Cara, and Scott Roy; son John Hall Forsberg of Hinton, Alberta and youngest daughter Carol (David) Milner and their children Michael, Sarah, Daniel and Hannah of Spruce Grove, Alberta. Many nieces and nephews and numerous friends will remember her with love.
Lorna was predeceased by her husband, John Forsberg on April 18, 2011, her daughter Connie in 1968, her father George Hall, mother Frances Hall and brother Donald Hall.
Memorial service was held on Sunday April 27, 2014 at 1:30 pm. at Gateway Community Church in Hinton with John Klassen presiding. A private family burial at the Woodlawn Cemetery will take place prior to the service.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Lorna Forsberg.
