GRAHAM, Leverne (Verne) Wilbur
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Verne Graham of Niton Junction, Alberta on June 5th, 2012 at the age of 66 years.
Verne is survived by his loving wife Sheila of Niton Junction, Alberta, his family, son Sam (Jemmette) Fulks of Prince George, BC and their children Aaron, Kenny and Christina: his granddaughter Jennifer of Vernon, BC; his daughter Shelley (Jody) Muldoon of Niton Junction, Alberta and their children Clint, Cassidy and Ethan; his son Darcy Graham of Peers, Alberta and his son Wyatt; his daughter Lane (Ryan) Hemmerling of Peers, Alberta and their children Carter and Clara.
Verne is further survived by his brothers and sisters; Florence Cullen and family of Fort St. John, BC, Ken (Ettie) Graham and family of Galloway, BC, Terry (Gary) Marcer and family of Baja, Mexico, Donna (Tom) Willey and family of Lillooet, BC, Dionne and family of Kamloops, BC, Mark (Lori) Hoppus and family of Edmonton, AB and Tammy Howse and family in Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Verne was predeceased by his son Shane in 1997, his parents, mother Lois in 1997, father Wilbur in 2009 as well as his brothers Garth Scott and Steve Graham.
Following cremation, a memorial service celebrating Verne’s life was held on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Niton Community Hall with Pastor George Stone officiating. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute care of The Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 – University Ave., Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 1Z2 in memory of Laverne Graham.
