HANEY, Larry Ward
We regret to announce the passing of Larry Ward Haney of Edson, Alberta on May 29th, 2012 at the age of 79 years.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Jean of Edson, Alberta,
Also surviving are his children: son Lawrence (Anita) Haney of Edmonton, Alberta,
daughter Carol (Robert) O’Neil in Pennsylvania, USA, son Dwight (Marina) Haney of Hinton, Alberta and their children Kristina and Jamie, son Cyril (Linda) Haney of Spruce Grove, Alberta and their children, Addison, Gillian and Gramae, and daughter Penny Hall of Edson, Alberta and her children Devon and Jordan.
Also surviving are his siblings; Roger, Dean, George, Donna, Esther, Marlys and Gayedawn. There are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends left behind.
Larry was predeceased by his first wife Joyce in 2003, his parents Russell and Geneva Haney as well as siblings Millie, Joyce, Richard and Orville.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Monday, June 4th, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Edson Mennonite Church in Edson, Alberta with Pastor Aaron Kauffman officiating. Interment of cremated remains followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Larry Ward Haney.
