ANDERSON, Kelly Stuart
On Saturday April 5, 2014 as the day was just beginning Kelly Stuart Anderson of Spruce Grove, AB, passed away peacefully at the age of 50 years.
Kelly will never be forgotten by his children Jonathon and Mackenzie and their mother Colleen. Also mourning their loss are his parents Stewart and Ruth Anderson of Wildwood, AB. His brother’s, John (Sharon) of Edson, AB, Joe (Jane) of Spruce Grove and Kevin (Christal) of Wildwood, AB. Kelly’s nieces and nephews Stacey (Dave), Whitney, Patricia (Jason), Mason (Shalissa), Amy (Cory), Charissa (Matt), Brooklynn and Chase.
Kelly was predeceased by his Grandfather, Roy Adams in 1973. His Grandmother, Margaret Adams in 2006 and his Uncle Donnie in 2002 .
Kelly was born in Prince George, BC. He spent his first 14 years in BC’s interior and then his family moved to Wildwood, AB. Kelly moved to Spruce Grove and married Colleen Yakimovich and had two wonderful children. Kelly was a hard working, ambitious man. He had a natural talent with woodworking and mechanics because of this he became a heavy duty mechanic. He enjoyed restoring vehicles and looked forward to doing this with his son. Spending time with his children, parents, brothers and their families is what really made Kelly happy.
Unfortunately in 1997, Kelly was diagnosed with MS. This changed the direction of his life but not the love he had for his family. He looked forward to every visit with his children, we all knew this as his face would light up whenever he spoke of them or was with them.
Kelly will be fondly remembered for his humor, his warmth and loyalty towards his family and friends. He leaves an everlasting legacy and will be missed by everyone who had the honor to know him.
Funeral services to celebrate Kelly’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Wildwood Community Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada - #150 – 9405 – 50 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6B 2T4 in memory of Kelly Stuart Anderson.
