FORSBERG, John
John was born on July 1st, 1923 in Trehorninsjo, Sweden. He passed away peacefully at the Hinton Healthcare Center on April 18th, 2011 at the age of 87 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Lorna of 60 years, and by his children and grandchildren; daughter Bonnie (Rodney) Roy of St. Albert, Alberta, and their children Bradley, Darrel, Mark (Katelyn) and Scott; son John Hall Forsberg of Hinton, Alberta and youngest daughter Carol (David) Milner and their children Michael, Sarah, Daniel and Hannah of Spruce Grove, Alberta. John is also survived by his brother Eric Forsberg; and sisters Anna Norstrom and Eva Schneider as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
John was predeceased by his loving daughter Connie in 1968, his father Karl and mother Elin in 1970 and sister Karin and brothers Ivar and Gustav.
Funeral service will held on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Gateway Community Baptist Church in Hinton with Pastor John Klassen presiding. Burial will take place following the service at the Woodlawn cemetery.
