It is with our great sorrow to announce the passing of Jacqueline (Jacquie) Mona Hanington (nee Truxler) on October 11, 2017 at the age of 83 years.
Jacquie was born in Jasper, Alberta on June 24, 1934 and lived her entire life in and near the mountains that she loved.
Jacquie is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter Fran and partner Jim Benson, son Colin and daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Deni and Noah Hanington, brother Vern Truxler and partner Loretta Brown, and extended family. Jacquie will also be lovingly missed by her many very special friends.
Jacquie was predeceased by her husband Bill Hanington, parents Agnes and Mark Truxler and granddaughter Sarah Hanington.
In loving memory, please join the family on Saturday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Church, 102 Sunwapta Drive in Hinton, for a celebration of her life.
