Jack Gurney Jack Gurney, aged 62 or Peers, Alberta passed away on February 9th, 2015 after his battle with lung cancer.
Left behind to grieve his loss are his family; best friend and love of his life, wife Lori, loving daughter Tina (Bruce) Gurney, daughter and wood splitting queen, Sherry Brown, son Shawn (Pam) Brown and his brother Steve (Dana) Gurney.
Also surviving are his grandchildren; Megan (JR) Severson, Colton, Cody and Austin Brown and Jack’s namesake Hannah.
Jack will be sadly missed by his pride and joy, sidekick, fishing partner and great love, his granddaughter Brandi Brown.
Also surviving are his great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Dray and Brenley Severson.
Also of note, Jack’s best bud Bill Sumners and other special friends; Alisha Fournier, Morgan Valley, Romona Roydhouse and Kim Kellner. Jack lived his life simply.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, friends and the great outdoors. At Jack’s request, he has been cremated and there will not be a service.
