MELLERSH, Irene
Born to Gilbert and Esther Forsberg, an only child.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Larry on June 15th, 2012 after 66 years of marriage.
Survived by two daughters – Louise (Wayne) Fairchild of Hinton, AB and Audrey (Roy) Mayne of Cranbrook, BC, four grandchildren – Shane (Cory) Fairchild, Nadine (Terry) Nix, Garrett (Christine) Mayne and Jana (Ty) Schulz as well as seven great grandchildren with another on the way.
Mom worked hard all her life. She was an avid reader and book collector. She loved playing cards, knitting, crocheting, listening to music and studying history and geography. Her embroidery and penmanship were perfection. Mom had incredible tenacity and strength, and we will miss her feistiness.
A family memorial service will take place in August.
