BASARABA, Irene
We regret to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Irene on June 13th, 2014 in Edson, Alberta at the age of 92 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving daughter Doreen (David Schlachter) Basaraba and her loving son Curtis Basaraba. Also surviving are eight grandchildren Kevin (Dana), Michael (Mandy), Nicole (Chris), Natashia, Jana (Matthew), Michelle (Chad), Christie, Stephen (Kristin), and 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Metro on October 20th, 1999, her parents Elizabeth and William Melling as well as her sister Evelyn Paulson on January 12th, 2010 and Baby Cayden Oct 27, 2009.
Cremation has taken place and interment of cremated remains will take place on Friday, June 20th, 2014 at Glenwood Cemetery.
