We regret to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother,
Ida Osadchuk of Edson, Alberta on September 10, 2011 at the age of 75 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving husband John of Edson, Alberta and her son Lyle and wife Kristin and their children Alyssa and Alec of Richmond, Texas, USA.
Also surviving is her brother John Vobeyda and his family and her sister Anna Carty and her family, all of Barrhead, Alberta.
Ida was predeceased by her parents, mother Mary Vobeyda on May 2nd, 1989 and father Frank Vobeyta on November 16th, 1964 as well as her brother Jim Vobeyda on March 28th, 2008.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 15th, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Edson Recreation Complex, Edson with Lay Worship Leader Kimberly Roy officiating. A private family interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road, NE, Calgary, Alberta – T2E 2P5 in memory of Ida
Osadchuk.
