Beck, Helen Elizabeth
Helen Beck, of Edson, Alberta passed away on December 6th, 2011 at the age of 64 in the Edson Hospital while surrounded by her family.
At the young age of 24, Helen fell in love and raised a family with her devoted husband of 40 years, John Beck. Helen left her cherished children, Dawn (Paul), Geoff (Michelle) and Jason (EllenaH), her grandchildren Cheryl, Adam, Amanda, Breea, Ryan, Brandon, and Sheldon, and her great grandchildren Evan, Jenna, and Lincoln to mourn her loss and treasure the fond memories of her.
Helen was born in Merritt, British Columbia on August 24th, 1947 to Miriam and Albert Rowbottom where she was and will always be remembered as the baby of the family by her many brothers and sisters. Even though, Helen was often separated by distance from her siblings, her love was continually unrelenting and well reciprocated by them. Helen’s family and dear friends were extremely important to her as she was very proud of them and constantly raving about their accomplishments.
Following the cremation, an intimate memorial service was held on Saturday, December 10th, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Edson Funeral Home.
