MILLER, Harold Leland
Surrounded by his family Harold passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the age of 78 years.
Harold will be lovingly missed by his children: Terance (Mavis) Gauchier, Cindy Miller, Dewey (Brenda) Miller, Harold (Patty) Miller, Edwin Miller, Sally Miller, and Deirdre (Jason) Stanvick. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother Ray (Violet) Gideon; his 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Colleen Miller; his parents Doris and Dewey Miller; his brother Colin Gideon and his sister Dorothy.
Harold had a great love for his family and loved to spend time with them. He could always be found talking about his pets that he adored and when he wasn’t working on his yard, you could find him playing his guitar or fishing.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 4:00 pm in the Foothills Memorial Chapel, 5040-6th Avenue, Edson, AB. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, September 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion #51 with Reverend Kimberly Roy officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, AB.
