DUKE, Gloria Elizabeth
It is with profound sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of our dear mother Gloria on November 10th, 2015 at the age of 76 years.
Gloria is survived by her loving family: daughter Ellen (Pat) Hynes and their children Caroline and Patricia of Fort McMurray, Alberta, daughter Marguerite (Alan) McKinley and their children Dwayne, Elizabeth and Karen of Weeks, Saskatchewan, daughter Dora Roach and her children Felicia and Tyler of Hinton, Alberta, daughter Janet (Dave) Bacsu and her son Joseph of Edmonton, Alberta, daughter Gloria (Bob) Lauder and their son Matthew of Chetwyn, British Columbia and son James (Rhonda) Duke and their children James and Nicholas of Hinton, Alberta.
Also surviving are her siblings; James (Betty) Rideout and family of Calgary, Alberta, William Rideout and family of Labrador City, NFLD, Doris Seaward and family of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Marguerite Seaward and family of Goose Bay, NFLD, Judith (J.D.) Goolsby and family of Mission, Texas and Wanda (George) Glover and family of Wabush, Labrador.
There as numerous other relatives and a host of friends surviving.
Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband James on August 15th, 2006, her sister Donna Wiseman and her parents James and Caroline Rideout.
Funeral services took place on Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta with Father Miroslav Kostarzewski officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hinton, Alberta.
A visitation was held on Sunday, November 15th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to Hinton Healthcare Centre, 1280 Switzer Drive, Hinton, AB T7V 1V2, in memory of Gloria Elizabeth Duke.
