VANMEETELEN, Glenn Richard Earl,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Richard Earl VanMeetelen, beloved husband of Alice on Thursday, August 27th, 2015 at the age of 57 years.
Besides his loving wife Alice, Glenn is survived by his children, Lisa Vanderveen and her sons Conner and Parker, Brian (Lauren) VanMeetelen and their son Wyatt, Steven (Karen) VanMeetelen and their children Colten, Hailey and Jackson and Mike VanMeetelen (friend Melissa) all of Edson, Alberta.
Glenn was predeceased by his son-in-law Tim Vanderveen and his parents John and Margaret VanMeetelen.
Also left behind to mourn his passing, his siblings: Gertrude (Henk) Teeuwissen of The Netherlands, Cathy (Tom) Vandermeer of St. Albert, Alberta, John (Jeanette) VanMeetelen of Edmonton, Alberta, Dave (Lidia) VanMeetelen of Calgary, Alberta, Ken (Lin) VanMeetelen of Taber, Alberta, as well as his in-laws John and Femmie DePee of Edmonton. Alberta, Andrea (Frank) DeLeeuw of Vauxhall, Alberta, Janet (Ron) DeLeeuw, Art (Sue) DePee, Joan (Arnold) DeLeeuw, Harvey (Jill) DePee, all of Edson, Alberta along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services took place on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Edson-Peers Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Ken Douma officiating.
Private interment preceded this service.
