It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gertrude Coral Oleksiw of Wildwood, Alberta on November 5th, 2012 at the age of 66 years.
Gertrude is survived by her loving family; daughter Tammy (Kelvin) Pelkey and their daughter Keli Boyer of Wildwood, Alberta, and daughter Joline (Bryce) Oleksiw of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are her siblings; Gilbert (Shirley) Getson and family, Dennis Getson and family, Shirley (Barry) Vankosky and family and Ronald (Sheri) Getson and family all of Wildwood, Alberta.
Gertrude was predeceased by her mother Iris on November 4th, 2012, her first husband Albert Pelkey and her second husband Joseph Oleksiw.
Funeral services for Gertrude Coral Oleksiw took place on Friday, November 9th, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Wildwood Community Hall in Wildwood, Alberta with Pastor George Stone officiating. Interment took place in the Leaman Cemetery, Leaman, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M 0H9 in memory of Gertrude Coral Oleksiw.
