Simard, Joseph Gerard
We regret to announce the passing of Gerry Simard, of Peers, Alberta. He passed away at the age of 75 on December 5, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born November 13, 1940 in Montreal, Quebec. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, one brother, one sister, six children, eleven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Placement of cremains took place at Glenwood cemetery on December 12, 2015 in the presence of his immediate family and close friends. A celebration of Gerry’s life will take place in the summer of 2016, for all family and friends who wish to participate.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be made to the “Cancer Society of Canada”, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 in memory of Gerard (Gerry) Simard.
