PHIPPS, George William
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George William Phipps of Hinton, Alberta on March 13th, 2013 at the age of 72 years.
George is survived by his loving family, daughter Cindy (Eugene) Laboucane and their children, Aimee and Haley of Hinton, Alberta, daughter Leigh Ann (Trevor) Milne of Red Deer, Alberta and son in law Chuck Bolkowy and his children Brandon and Derek of Hinton, Alberta.
Also surviving, his sister Margaret (Gary) Conger and their family, Gary (Rae) Conger and family, Robert Conger and family all of Robb, Alberta and Donna Conger and family of Edson, Alberta. There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn as well.
George was predeceased by his loving wife Glynis on March 11th, 2008, his daughter Lori Bolkowy on October 3rd, 2000 as well as his father George, his mother Ruth and step father Stan Turner.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and interment of cremated remains will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hinton in the summer.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 – 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M 0H9 or to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of George William Phipps.
