COOK, Gary Leslie
We regret to announce the passing of Gray Leslie Cook, beloved husband of Noella, on February 13th, 2016 at the age of 59 years.
Besides his loving wife Noella, Gary is survived by his daughter Mary of Calgary and her children: Mavis, Gary, Pewahpun, Okemah and Destiny and his son Doug (Melba) of Edmonton, Alberta.
Also surviving are his siblings: Lyle (Jeannette) Cook and family of Ardrossan, Alberta, Dennis (Grace) Cook and family of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Harvey Cook and family of Edmonton, Alberta, Marlene (Robert) Ambler and family of Armstrong, British Columbia as well as his sister in law Sharon Cook and family of Edmonton, Alberta.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn as well.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Wendel and Vera Cook as well as his brother Morley Cook and sister in law Lynn.
Cremation took place and a memorial service was held on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Marlboro Community Hall, Marlboro, Alberta.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Drive, NE, Calgary, Alberta – T2E 2P5 or to The Canadian Liver Foundation (Hepatitis C) #309, 1010 - 1 Avenue, Calgary, Alberta T2E 7W7 in memory of Gary Leslie Cook.
